My First Quilt Class

I managed to squeeze in a class at Fiberologie before they closed (sigh, whimper). I don't know if I was more impressed with Pauline Salzman's quilting or her quick wit! Everyone's creation was so different. I loved the choice of colors and patterns at each table. I learned so much in just four hours. I'm not done. Now, I've got to actually learn how to stitch on this thing!

  1. TOOOOO cute. Did you use the fabrics to a backing before cutting? The ears are my favorite. I want to take a quilting class. You crafty girl!

  2. Thanks! And yes-we used Misty Fuse. THe whole process was fascinating-from tracing to using freezer paper. This doggie took 4 hours! I have to practice on scrap before I try to stitch on this. I'll let you know when it's done :)
